Drdo Signs 30 Agreements On Technology Transfer

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has signed 30 licensing agreements for technology transfer (ToT) with 16 Indian companies, including three start-ups, at vibrant Goa Global Expo and the 2019 Summit, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement on Friday. The Indian Armed Forces procure ready-to-eat meals, survival rations and emergency flight rations from companies that have purchased ToT from DRDO. These products meet the requirements of the armed forces, which are used in inhospitable terrain and hostile weather conditions. These products have a high nutritional value and greater durability. These technologies are useful for the greater interest of society. The summit will take place from 17 to 19 October at Goa University, Taleigao, Goa. The ministry said in a press release: “The DRDO is developing technologies for the armed forces and has put these technologies to work for the defense industry for the final operation of the armed forces.” “The Indian Armed Forces are purchasing ready-to-eat meals, survival rations and emergency rations from companies that have purchased ToT from DRDO. These products meet the requirements of the armed forces, which are used in inhospitable terrain and hostile weather conditions. These products have a high nutritional value and greater durability. The Vibrant Goa Summit allowed companies to interact with the drdo scientists who developed these technologies. The event was opened yesterday by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and was visited by senior Goa and Drdo government officials,” he added.

The DRDO develops technologies for the armed forces and has implemented tot of these technologies for the defense industry for the end use of the armed forces. .
